Sonoma Furniture began as a wholesale manufacturer of unfinished bedroom furniture in 1975 under the "McGunagle and Sons" name. The McGunagle Family opened their first retail store in Petaluma, CA in 1977 as the "Chestbed Store" manufacturing all of their own products focusing on space-saving bedroom furniture. As the business grew and other product lines were added, the business name was changed to "Sonoma Furniture" in 1997 and moved to Sonoma, CA in 2004.

Today, Sonoma Furniture carries an extensive line of quality home furniture, window covering treatments and brand name mattresses. We are dedicated to providing our customers with quality products that are sold at competitive prices. We are proud that over 50% of our customers are returning clients that have bought from us in the past.
